Don't forget EXmerge..

This program is so old I'd almost forgotten about it until I needed to clean up a clients' Exchange 2003 server ready for migration.

EXmerge allows one to copy users mailboxes from a live no-line data store to a PST which can then be imported (by Outlook or EXMerge) onto a new system.

It can be found here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=2743

Easy to use - remember to copy a version of exchmem.dll from the Exchange server bin director to the folder you installed EXmerge into and also that it has a 2Gb size limit.

Oh, and if you get permission errors in the EXmerge logs, check this out..http://tekguides.com/site/error-messages/87-0x8004011d-error-opening-message-store-msems-verify-that-the-microsoft-exchange-information-store-service-is-running

Remember one can also run EXmerge against a number of users in the same run - so very fast and easy to use.
